On August 1st, GRACIOUS DOORS held a volunteer concert at a day-care center in Tokyo, attended by about twenty people.
When we performed the original gospel song “Kaze no Hibiki” (Echo of the Wind)—specifically the track “Zenzen Daijoubu, Zenzen OK Dakara” (It’s Totally Fine, It’s Totally OK)—and shared the story behind its creation, a fresh and moving sentiment spread throughout the venue.
This was our second concert at the facility, and the audience remembered the song “Kansha-man” (Gratitude Man); we all sang it together once again, accompanied by hand-clapping.
At the end, one elderly lady smiled and said to us, “Even at my age, I can hear perfectly well. I love music! I had such a wonderful time! Thank you so much!” We offer our heartfelt thanks to God for blessing this concert!
