On Sunday, March 19, By His Spirit held the 10th Gospel Concert in an elderly care facility in Setagaya-ku Ward. Both the repeaters and newcomers were looking forward to the concert.
We sang “Konomama-de” and “Sakura” from Volume 10 songbook of Yasuragi. We also sang “Hanairo.” Several in the audience were crying. A lady who came to the concert for the second time was listening showing no emotions on her face. But as we sang songs on, God toutched her and she wiped the tears many times. We talked about the cross of Jesus and salvation as we introduced the songs. Some were nodding as they listened to the Gospel. At the end of the concert we sang “Ookina-Ai” together with the audience. They seemed to savor the lyrics as they sang the song, and they were singing with all their might. To my surprise, a meale staff sang the “Ookina-Ai” with a loud voice; he seemed to have learned the lyrics of the song. We are going to come to this facility again next month.
