A praise band “Yotokobi (Joy)” made a visit to have a concert at a palliative care ward in Fujita Health University Nanakuri Sanatorium.
This time many male hooked up to a drip came to listen and family members and volunteers gathered including people on a bed and in a wheel chair.
Starting with a praise song “Joy,” the atmosphere changed at once, and we were impressed to sing praises to God in accord. A person looking still and staring up, turned eyes to us and got to listen. A woman said brokenly holding her breast with tears,”It was only after I suffered from disease that songs touched my heart. Here’s joy.”
A man next seat also said nodding with shaking his head vertically,”I am so happy for it!”
A small child saying, “Let’s come to listen again” impressed us.
Each staff member also was glad to say,”Songs warmed our heart so much. We wish they would come again!” We give our heartfelt thanks to God.
