The list of the countries which people must wait for three days after entering Japan from in accommodations secured by the quarantine office has been changed, and Israel will be removed from this list after September 20.
Therefore, when the team arrives back in Japan from Israel, they will no longer need to wait for three days in accommodations secured by the quarantine office.
However, they will still have to be quarantined at home for 10 days or 2 weeks. If they take the PCR test on the day of arrival and the result is negative, they can go home (without using public transportation) and will be quarantined at home for 10 days or 2 weeks.
If they are from a rural area of Japan and cannot return home without using public transportation, they will be quarantined for 10 days or 2 weeks at their own expense at a hotel near the airport.
