About the rules of the J.GOSPEL contest

The following rules will be applied from the next J.GOSPEL contest district qualifier.

※At Tokyo Antioke Church, including the year-end concert qualifier

1 The performance time shall be within 3 minutes from start to end.

2 Lead vocals are not allowed to sing as lead vocals in other teams. However, it is possible to participate as a chorus. For that standard, please contact The Vision.

3 As for choirs, if you have a lead vocal, try to avoid duplicates of the lead vocals with other teams. Also, please avoid forming a choir with a team that is participating in the finals of the contest.

4 Regarding the selection of songs of each participating group, you can not sing the songs that won the 7th place in the final tournament in the past. Also, it will be impossible to sing the same song continuously.

5 Please select songs from the songs published in the song of Kaze no Hibiki and Yasuragi, including the preliminary round. ( There are exceptions.) If you want to choose songs other than Kaze no Hibiki and Yasuragi no Song, please check with The Vision before the tournament.

6 Whether you can add a chorus to the orchestra used in the contest depends on the degree. Please check with The Vision before the tournament.

7J Gospel Contest Final in Hakuba, we will check if there are members who will participate in multiple groups.

※From preliminary round at Tokyo Antioke Church and the Kanto preliminary round in Kanto.

Insomnia and hay fever healing

On October 14, a healing gathering was held at Tokyo Antioque Church.

During the mini live of Uranos, the story was told about the time when the Miyashita family had just come to Tokyo from Hokkaido. “My son, who was an elementary school student, was refused to go to school and couldn’t sleep at night. That’s why I continued to cry and scream at night. The medicine I received from the hospital was rejected. One time, I was told that I could take medicine, but I threw it away because it was already old.”

The next day, when Mr. Miyashita participated in the service, at the end of the service, he said, “Insomnia was healed” with words from God (words of wisdom and knowledge) spoken by the pastor. When I received that word and said, “I will believe so that I can sleep,” and prayed with his son, he was able to sleep from that day and was completely healed.

Also, in the message, Pastor Taniguchi’s wife Motoko’s hay fever was healed.

Motoko has been suffering from various symptoms of hay fever even though she has been taking medicine every day for 30 years.

This spring, after the service, the pastor said, “There is a person whose eyes have been healed,” a word from God.

At that time, her eyes were particularly itchy due to the influence of hay fever, and Motoko received this as a healing for hay fever.

One day in the summer, she said to Pastor Taniguchi, “A great thing happened.  I’ve recovered from hay fever.”

Since spring, even though she didn’t take medicine, all the symptoms she suffered for 30 years have disappeared and she was completely healed.

Splendor & Come&Worship & Sara Maeda Family Band Lobby Concert at Resort Hotel!

On Monday, October 9th, which was a holiday, Splendor from the Kansai Praise Team, along with Come & Worship and the Sara Maeda Family Band, held two lobby concerts at a resort hotel in Nanki Shirahama, Wakayama Prefecture.

Unfortunately, it was raining that day, but many people listened to our original gospel songs. Each song received a big round of applause, and when we sang “Thank You Man,” everyone reacted, regardless of age or gender. Even a small child asked for an encore.

We also had a unique encounter. People who had come to the hotel from Osaka to study the Bible leisurely, as well as members of a gospel choir based in Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture, who happened to be staying at the hotel on a trip, saw the concert information and joined us. Many people participated, and new relationships were formed.

Furthermore, a fan of Sara Maeda brought a CD and had it autographed, and many people thoroughly enjoyed the concert.

During the final performance of “God is Love,” everyone stood up and cheered us on, making it a truly blessed concert.

We received a message from Mr. Philip to Pastor Akimoto

“Please convey this message to Pastor Akimoto. Thank you very much for your prayers. We are doing well. We have been staying inside our home most of the time and only go out when absolutely necessary, but we are in good health.

We are not very far from the border, and our country is small, so there have been missiles falling not too far away, but our area is safe. Our daughter Susan lives nearby and takes good care of us. We also have a shelter called a ‘safe room’ in our house.

Please pray for our grandson Dan. He has been called to the army. It seems he is in the northern region now, but we are not sure of the exact location. Most of the employees at Immanuel Tours are women and have not been called. There are one or two male employees, and they may be drafted in the near future.

Please continue to pray for us.

(Regarding the team planning to visit in three weeks) Given the current situation, I don’t think it’s possible. However, we are praying that God will intervene and make it possible for the team to come.

(Regarding sleeping at night, for he has been insomniac for some time.) I sleep well at night.

We truly appreciate Pastor Akimoto’s and everyone’s prayers. Please continue to pray for us.”

Hoshina and IMMANUEL participated in Gospel Market

On October 8, Hoshina and IMMANUEL from The Vision appeared at the “Gospel Market (Live Church Sunza)” event held in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. IMMANUEL performed three songs alongside Beracha. After their performance, the third song they sang, “Hanairo,” received numerous comments such as, “It’s a very encouraging song.” They expressed their gratitude, saying, “Thank you for your wonderful praise. I’m truly thankful that God provided me with the opportunity to meet you.”

Gospel enka singer Hoshina, who made his second appearance at Live Church Sunza, took the stage towards the end of the event. The audience was thrilled from the first song, “Than Than Thank You,” and during the fourth and final song, “Than Than Thank You,” everyone joined in singing the chorus, creating even more excitement. Even after the song concluded, applause continued for some time. Apparently, after his previous event, people discussed “Hoshina” and “Than Than Thank You.” He received comments such as, “It was wonderful to praise God together” and “I was greatly blessed through worship,” as well as suggestions like, “You should create flyers and distribute them to everyone.” This time, the praise bands not only facilitated worship but also fostered various relationships and work development.
