As we praise the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, preparations are now underway for the Commemoration of the 26 Martyrs of Japan, to be held on February 5, 2026.
In past years, all necessary expenses have been met through the generous and faithful donations of many supporters. We express our heartfelt gratitude for this continued support.
At present, approximately 40 percent of the required budget has already been secured. However, 60 percent is still needed to fully cover the costs of this year’s events.
This year’s gathering will be especially significant. Father Jakub and Pastor David will be joining us from the Czech Republic to minister. In addition, following their participation in the past two years, Pastor Tsugumichi Ohkawa will once again serve together with his successor, Pastor Eiji Koyama.
We prayerfully anticipate that this will be a richly blessed and truly special memorial gathering.
As in previous years, two daytime services will be held at Nishizaka Hill, and an evening service will begin at 6:30 p.m. at Nagasaki Brick Hall, a venue with a seating capacity of 2,000. With this expanded program, the financial needs have increased accordingly.
We humbly ask for your continued prayers and generous financial support. We are deeply thankful for your joyful giving and faithful encouragement over the years, and we sincerely appreciate your support once again for this memorial event.

An original kamishibai (illustrated storytelling) is being used in ministry activities. This kamishibai was illustrated by Evangelist Israel of TLEA Yokosuka Church.
The kamishibai, depicting the birth of Jesus Christ, has been shared via social media with more than 50 churches, groups, and individuals nationwide. It has been presented at Sunday schools, Christmas events, and other gatherings, and many joyful testimonies have been received.
At one gathering attended by approximately 20 non-Christians, following the kamishibai presentation and a pastor’s message, an invitation to salvation was given, and all attendees responded. Through this kamishibai, many children have also developed a growing interest in the Bible and the church.
For evangelistic purposes, the PDF file is available free of charge. Those who wish to receive it may contact us through the links below:
