PRESENCE held a concert at a day care center

On Saturday, January 10th, the Tokyo Antioch Church’s congregational praise team, PRESENCE, held their 11th concert at a day service center in Kita Ward.

Everyone seemed to be really looking forward to it, asking, “Are we going to have gospel music today?” We were surprised to see some new faces singing along, even though it was their first time.

Mint, JOY, Yuuki Hoshina, Immanuel, and Gifts also sang alongside PRESENCE. Over the years, gospel music has become more prevalent, and the audience listened intently to the talk, which included gospel verses. We also had the opportunity to hear from the staff.

A family member of a resident commented, “They seem to be looking forward to the gospel music,” and one of the staff members was even seen secretly shedding tears as they listened to the gospel music. It was a great opportunity to see God touch both the residents and the staff through the gospel music.

Glory to the Lord!

Healing from Arrhythmia

On January 10, a Healing Service was held at Tokyo Antioch Church. During the service, a testimony was shared about the healing of the father of Ms. Noa Terumi.

Her father had been suffering from premature contractions, a type of arrhythmia, and experienced discomfort and pain in his heart. Because of this condition, he measured his blood pressure and pulse every day, and arrhythmia was detected each time.

On Monday, December 16, Ms. Terumi delivered a message at the Second Worship Service for the first time. Her father watched the service online. At the end of the message, there was a time of prayer for healing. During that time, Ms. Terumi shared a word she received from God, saying, “The pain in the heart has been healed now.”

Hearing this, her father thought, “I hope I will be healed too.”
From the very next day, the arrhythmia disappeared, and he was healed.

Her father later said, “Please keep praying for me.”

Report and Thanks Regarding the Special Offering for Church Finances

We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your continued prayers and generous support.

In response to the church’s financial needs, we asked for prayer and special offerings on June 2 and August 6, 2025. While this report comes later than intended, we are pleased to share that, through your faithful prayers and giving, each of the financial needs at that time was fully met and graciously provided for.

The ongoing ministry of the church is sustained by God’s abundant grace and by the wholehearted cooperation of each and every one of you. We offer our heartfelt thanks.

We also acknowledge that our follow-up reporting was not as thorough as it should have been. Going forward, we will strive to communicate more carefully and clearly.

We would be grateful if you would continue to keep the work of the church in your prayers.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support and partnership.
