GRACIOUS DOORS Holds Volunteer Concert at a Day Service Center in Tokyo

On June 20, GRACIOUS DOORS presented a volunteer concert at a day service center in Tokyo, attended by approximately 20 people.

Several audience members commented that “More Than Anyone Else”, an original gospel song from the Kaze no Hibiki collection, was their favorite performance of the day.

Although this was the group’s first concert at this facility, “Kansha Man (Thanksgiving Man)” was especially well received. One elderly lady enthusiastically remarked, “This song has such a great rhythm! I really liked ‘Kansha Man’!” Her response sparked an encore request, and the audience joyfully joined in once again with handclaps and singing.

Many participants shared comments such as, “All the songs were wonderful,” and “We had a great time!” Everyone greatly enjoyed the concert.

We give heartfelt thanks to God for His blessing upon the concert and for touching the hearts of those who attended.

Healing from Bilateral Hip Dysplasia

At the Healing Service on June 13, a testimony was shared about the complete healing of Zion Tomabechi Ai’s younger sister from bilateral hip dysplasia through God’s miraculous intervention.

Since early childhood, she had suffered from a serious condition, and doctors had told the family that a bone graft surgery would likely be necessary in the future. However, her parents continued to trust in God’s healing and faithfully prayed for her.

Even as her symptoms worsened, the family chose to give thanks to God in every circumstance. Her younger sister also placed her faith in God and was baptized.

Then, during a crucial medical examination that would determine whether surgery was needed, the doctor delivered unexpected news: “She is completely healed.”

Through this remarkable miracle, God’s power and faithfulness were wonderfully revealed.

🌈 Read the Full Testimony of Healing from Bilateral Hip Dysplasia

On June 13, a Healing Service was held at the Tokyo Antioch Church.

A testimony was shared about the healing of Zion Tomabechi Ai’s younger sister from bilateral hip dysplasia.

When she was three months old, a medical examination revealed that the hip bones needed to support her body had not developed properly.

The doctor explained that when she grew older and became physically stronger, she might be able to walk with crutches through a bone graft procedure using her own bone. The family was also told that multiple surgeries would likely be required over the years.

Her parents were Christians and prayed for her healing. At that time, they attended a church that did not believe that divine healing still takes place today. Later, they began attending a TLEA church, where they learned about and prayed in faith for God’s healing.

However, during regular checkups, it became clear that her condition was worsening. She was unable to carry her school backpack, and her older sister, Zion, often carried it for her and sometimes even carried her on her back to school.

When she was in the fourth grade, her school held a walk rally. The pain became so severe that she could not continue walking and returned home in tears.

Around that time, Merlin Carothers visited their church. He taught that when we give thanks to God not only for good things but also for difficult circumstances, God’s wonderful plans can be revealed.

Although her condition continued to deteriorate, the family chose to give thanks to God even for that situation.

Her younger sister then placed her faith in God and was baptized. She also received a promise from Scripture through the words, “Your daughter has been healed,” and believed that God would surely heal her. Holding on to that promise, she continued to give thanks.

Near the time she graduated from elementary school, she underwent another regular examination. This was a crucial checkup that would determine whether surgery was necessary.

As the doctor examined the X-rays, he repeatedly looked at them with surprise and confusion. Finally, he said:

“She is completely healed.”

God had performed a wonderful miracle, and her condition was completely healed.
