On November 30, gospel enka singer Yuki Hoshina held a gospel concert at the group home Shalom Motenuma in Suginami Ward.
The 30-minute performance featured gospel enka songs as well as general music. While the atmosphere was lively, residents listened attentively and appeared deeply engaged.
During the encore song, God is Love, participants raised their hands to form an “L” sign, creating an uplifting moment. Staff members were also pleasantly surprised by the gesture.
Following the concert, there was a time of fellowship during which conversations took place with members from other churches. Flyers for Kokoro Gospel and Yuki Hoshina were also shared.
