Healing of Adult-Onset Still’s Disease

On Saturday, July 13th, a healing gathering was held at the Tokyo Antioch Church. The mini-live performance in the first half was by Jerusalem.

Mariko Israel, the vocalist, shared the story of her younger sister being healed from a severe illness, adult-onset Still’s disease. Her sister suddenly had a high fever over 39 degrees and a rash that lasted for two weeks, but the cause was unknown.

She couldn’t sleep due to the pain and prayed for healing for the first time, saying, “God, please help me.” She had forgotten to pray until then. At the fourth university hospital, it was discovered that she had adult-onset Still’s disease, similar to her cousin’s collagen disease.

A specialist for this disease was at a hospital near her sister’s house. She was immediately hospitalized, but it was unknown when she would be discharged. She was discharged after a month and a half and continued outpatient treatment but was told to avoid the sun.

Six months later, she wanted to attend her child’s camp desperately, so she participated while praying for protection. The next day, she had a check-up at the hospital, and all her values were normal. The doctor was surprised and said they couldn’t prescribe any more medicine; she was completely healed.
