Shalom, dear brothers and sisters in Japan. Shalom Pastor Akimoto, all elders brothers and sisters, friends, people that I know and don’t know. First of all, I want to wish you blessings big blessings from heaven and big respect and big Shalom from “Return To Zion Congregation” here in Haifa. From Haifa, we send you our best regards.
And I want to wish you a blessed time as you go through this prayer time, the gospel time, and singing time with people throughout the world.
As Israel today, we go through a not easy situation, but we trust in God, and in this format, I want to share with you two places from the Bible, and I believe very much that understanding these places can also be blessed and reachable for you, can encourage you to different things. As you know, Israel now goes through a fight with Hamas, Hezbollah, and with Iran (the old name of Iran is Persia, Paras).
In Daniel, chapter 10, we see interesting stories where Prophet Daniel starts to fast to reach God’s Will, and at some point after two weeks of fasting, Gabriel, the same angel that later told Mary that she would be pregnant with God’s Son, Yeshua Jesus, spoke to Daniel and explained to him the secrets of heaven.
He told that the Prince of Persia, or some Spiritual Authority in Persia, was fighting against him, and one of the best angels of God, Michael, who also has some spiritual responsibilities for the nation of Israel, came and helped him, and they just demolished the Prince of Persia.
So, I believe very much that Michael is still available for us, for the nation of Israel, and God Himself is available for us. So, through this somewhat crazy situation, we go to see and find some of God’s wisdom and leading.
So, I want to tell you that he is also available for you, Michael, or different angels that are responsible for Japan, because he wants to bring to you something special from heaven. And the God of Abraham, who also became your God through Messiah Yeshua, is also available to give you help, assistance, and blessings. I know that everybody in every place in the world needs His assistance and blessings. It’s point number one.
Point number two is written in Psalm 121: “I raise my eyes to the mountains from this place. I will recieve help from God.” It’s very interesting.
But the God of Israel has many different names: El Shaddai, Emmanuel, God my helper, God my healer, differenct names. However, in this Psalm, we see another name of God: Mountain.
It’s a bit strange here, and probably in the translation, “Mountain” as it’s connected to God is something physical, yes, of course, mountains are physical places, but also if we can understand that God has another name, “Mountain,” that we can go to Him, and we can hide ourselves in Him, and that when we go up to God’s Mountain, we can be behind all situations that surround us, and His strength, His revelation, and His touch to our heart can take us up behind all our enemies.
A couple days ago I was in Jerusalem and between one of the areas of Jerusalem and Bethlehem exist small mountains really small.
And the name of this mountain, Elisha mountain of Elisha and actually it’s connected to biblical story that Elisha and his helper Gehazi was on this place and king tried to reach Elisha bring him down probably even to kill him and fire from God fall down and kill all enemies of Elisha. At some point his assistant helper Gehazi became full of fear.
And the Bible tell us that Elisha prayed to God and God opened eyes as of Gehazi and he can see many angels many some powerful things of God who protect them from all huge number of militaries that King sent against Elisha.
I think this is very actual to us to Israeli people today but I think it’s also very actual for each person who look for God protection.
