On Saturday, April 27th, the Kichijoji J.GOSPEL FES 2024 was held at the Inokashira Park outdoor stage in Kichijoji. Despite rain forecasts for several days prior, there were concerns about whether the event would take place. However, while there was light rain in the morning, it stopped by the time the festival began, and we were blessed with good weather that was neither too hot nor too cold, making it comfortable for everyone.
For about four and a half hours, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., approximately 25 teams affiliated with The Vision participated, praising original gospel songs such as “Yasuraginouta (Songs of Peace)” and “Kazenohibiki (Sound of the Wind)”. Many visitors to the park listened attentively to their songs.
Some people who received flyers for the festival during street live performances, as well as those who came through flyer postings, were also in attendance. Everyone was delighted and expressed how wonderful the gospel music was.
Many people also gathered through the livestream, and those who couldn’t come from far away were watching as well. Additionally, many people took flyers placed at the flyer stands for both the festival and the “Kokorogospel” event scheduled for the 29th. This event served as a promotional tool for Kokorogospel as well.
