On December 18, Volunteer Gospel Singers of TLEA Tokyo Machida Church held a concert for about an hour at a facility in Sagamihara City in Kanagawa Prefecture.
This was our third visit to this facility, and about 40 people including staff members listened to us. Some were shedding tears during the concert. The oldest user who is 103 years old also listened to us and moved her body according to the rhythm of the songs. Many said “I was looking forward to your concert. Thank you for coming again.” Others said, “I didn’t know we have such good song”, “They are such good songs. Really good songs.” And many said,”Those songs gave me power. They really make me happy.”
After the concert, a staff member came with her schedule book and she asked us to please come again.
We thank God who blessed the concert.
