Suzuka Gospel Club held a concert at a welfare facility “Daikazoku (Big Family)” in Suzuka city.
About 35 people and five people of caregivers attended, we sang Christmas medley and 6 songs from Gospel song book “Yasuragi no uta (Song of Peace)”, “Kaze no hibiki (The Sound of the Wind)”. We sang nursery rhymes and songs , a gospel song “Ookina ai (The Great Love)” was sung. After the concert, one person suddenly stood up and said loudly, “It was good!”
Before starting the concert, a male caregiver who seems not to be very interested also said, “It was very impressive. I want to sing too. Please come again. Is it difficult to come to Christmas?” We will do the second concert in February. A female caregiver talked, “I was very moved. Everyone seemed to be very good as well,” and those who first heard gospel songs were touched by the love of God. We give thanks to God for the blessed concert.
