In the afternoon of Wednesday, December 5, a praise band of Hyogo Philadelphia Church held a Christmas Concert for one hour at an elderly welfare facility in Kawanishi City in Hyogo Prefecture.
In the seminar room on the first floor, about seventy people including residents of the facility and the users of adjacent facility for the handicapped, and they listened to Christmas carols and Japanese original Gospel songs. Since this is a facility we are regularly visiting, some began to sing looking at the lyrics of the songs on the screen, others were listening shedding tears silently. The response of the audience was very good.
After the concert many people came and talked to us. A man said he was touched by the lyrics of “Don’t Give Up” and he said “That song is really true.”
