Paul Akimoto’s booklet titled ” The Real Facts of The Davao Jail Incident: Missionary Jackie Hamill’s Martyrdom in Japanese is now on sale from Mikoe News Press.
This is the incident that happened in August of 1989, at a jail in Davao city, Philippines. The prisoners took Christians as hostage who came to the prison for their jail ministry. The prisoners and a combined police-military watched each other. During the gunfight, five Christians and 16 prisoners were shot dead.
