On Wednesday, December 6, Osaka J-Gospel Club held a volunteer Christmas concert in an orphanage in Suita City. We visit them every year around this time of Christmas, and it is ten years since we first began to visit them.
This year all of the audience were elementary school students. There were nearly thirty students and they sat and listened to our songs. We sang some non-Christian Christmas songs, too. We had a feeling that the Gospels entered their hearts more deeply. A high grade student who looked rebellious smiled at the end of the concert. The children we know said, “Please come again!” I really felt that Gospels open people’s hearts. We give all the glory to God.
