On Thursday, the 13th, Minamata Gospel Club and Kumamoto Gospel Club had a gospel concert at Minamata Municipal Meisuien.
This facility was opened in December, Showa 47 as Minamata City Complex-typed facility Meisuien. It has been the facially for a patient to be officially certified as a Minamata Disease victim since then.
Many attended. We gave voice training a little with songs from Yasuragi no uta. And then, we sang “Katatsumuri no uta (snail’s song)” and “Furusato (Hometown)” together.
At last, all of us got excited with “Dance” a song from Yasuragi no uta. And we were called for an encore.
People staying in the facility also sang together with tambourin and pompon!
Some were crying with saying to be happy to shake hands with us and talk. Some said to wish to sing together next time. The concert was blessed abundantly.
