On Saturday, 21st July, Gospel group Jerusalem held concert at a day care facility in Iwatsuki, Saitama.
After singing summer folk songs, we sang a lot of gospel. We asked to make a lyrics card and they learned by heart using it. We sang together, listening to “Kaze no Hibiki” gospel. Users said, “The lyrics comes to my heart more when I read the lyrics card and sing” We heard that some of the users are humming the song, remembering them. We were happy to hear that from the staffs.
After the concert, the staff was asking users’ opinion about us. A person said, “I recalled my late wife. She took care of me. I thank her. Tears drop.” Another person said, “I recalled my late husband. I still love him!”
When staff said, “Gospel is immersing into people’s heart”, we praised God.
It is awesome that they can sing. It means God is working in each of them!
