A new car was given to the family of Pastor Elijah Matsuda in Nagoya Church. While stopping at an intersection his car was rear-ended by a following car. It was a case of pileup collision. His car was scrapped and Pastor Matsuda and his wife were suffering from whiplash. The car was an old one and the damage was not covered by an insurance. However, they praised God and danced with joy and was given the words, “We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed (2Co 4:8 NIV)” They continued to pray and offerings were given and with other helps they were able to buy a new car. A new wagon for which they have been praying for about ten years was given. We thank God and those who helped us.
