Piano Performance of Ms. Rieko Yoshizumi Scheduled Sunday, August 5, in Tokyo Charismatic Meeting
Rieko Yoshizumi; after completing her study at Senior High School of Music attached to The Faculty of Music and Tokyo University of the Arts attaining the highest grade, she went on to study at Hochschule für Musik Detmold in Germany.
She finished the graduate study and the Concerto Hegumen (Soloist Course) attaining the highest grade. Since her study at college in Germany, she had become very enthusiastic in chamber music, too, performing her solo recitals at numerous concerts accompanied by orchestra in Germany and abroad. She has performed as soloist at concerts in countries of Europe, Asia and South America. She has received invitations to music festivals. She has been teaching at the master class of Piano and Chamber Music in Japan, Spain, and Peru. After she was offered a teaching post at the Detmold College of Music and the ‘Carl Maria von Weber’ College of Music in Dresden, she has also been teaching at the ‘Carl Maria von Weber’ College of Music in Dresden since the year of 2000 as a Professor of Piano. She has studied under each professor of Professor Akiko Iguchi, Professor Toshiko Katsutani, Professor Friedrich Wilhelm Schnurr and Professor Roberto Szidon.
