Gospel singing group in Okinawa VOICE, Cross Road, and Gifts held a Gospel concert at a square in front of Okinawa Prefecture Office Building on December 14^th, 2011. Students on a school trip, business men, wives, and many other people stopped and listened to their songs. One person said that he never heard that type of songs and asked for a CD. Another listener told them that he had peace of mind listening to their songs.  All of the groups received great reactions from the audience. Give thanks to the Lord.

On Saturday, 10 December, a praise band of Hirosima and Kure Church gave a Christmas Concert for 1 hour at Nigata Hohoemi East Day Service in Kure City. That was the third time to hold the concert at the facility. Pastor Miki delivered a message about Christmas. The audience was listening to the message attentively. We all, including a man age 98, sang some songs from Yasuragi-no-uta, and sang songs for Christmas together while using lyrics printed on A3 size paper. We sang loudly together, and we had a wonderful time. The concert was a blessing.

On December 11, Niigata Gospel Club held a concert after Sunday service at the event square called “Matinaka stage” which is in an underground shopping area Nishibori rosa, located at Nishibori street on the main street in Niigata city. On that day a rainbow which is written as a sign of promises and blessings of the Lord in the Bible appeared in the sky from the morning. They worshiped the Lord with songs form Yasuragi songs (Rivers in the Desert Music) like “Ohkina-Ai (Great Love).” Although that was the first time for them to hold a concert at “Matinaka stage”, many people attended the concert and everyone was listening to the music attentively from the beginning to the end. Also there was someone who talk to them and said, “Next time I would like to hear some Christmas songs, so please hold the concert again.”

On December 11, a gospel group Jerusalem held a mini-concert in a relaxation room at Tokyo Stone Sauna where is located in Suginami-ku. Many people came to the showroom to listen to the performance after they took a bath at Stone Sauna. In the deep presence of the Lord, the half of the audience was moved to tears. the members of Jerusalem gave thanks to the Lord when they heard everyone saying, “It is marvelous! Thank you very much.” The Lord was working with them.

On December 10, at night, the gospel group Splendor gave a German Christmas Concert at Shin-Umeda-City in Oosaka for about 30 minutes. The concert was the second time from the previous year. There were so many people attending the concert just like the crowded train because of the weekend. The audience was listening to their performance attentively. They sang seven songs from Yasuragi-no-uta including only one song for Christmas. When they sang the lyrics of “God is Love” with L-letter sign by their fingers, the concert really came alive. It was really cold, however, but the concert was a real blessing. After the event, Philipino ladies purchased their CD’s.

Nagasaki Martyrdom Memorial Conference will be held on Monday 6 February at Nisizaka Park. The Conference will be started from 2:00 pm.

Okayama Philadelphia church’s praising team, “Zerubbabel” took part in the Christmas concert held at Tessei, Niimi, Okayama prefecture on Sunday, at the evening of 11th December. They sang 4 songs including ‘Eien no Ai’ in front of about 120 audience. After that, many people said, “very good”, “The song ,Eien no Ai touched me.” and so on. The concert was blessed with God worked in.

Splendor’s gospel concert, ‘Kagayaku Hikari no Naka o’ was held at Itami Hall in Itami city, Hyogo on 9th December.  About 120 people gathered at the hall. They used movies in the concert and there was the Lord’s presence deeply.  When ‘God is Love’ was sang, most of audiences made L sign with their fingers and some people at the back were dancing. The audience this time include friends of Splendor members and people from the places they had concert before beside the concert repeaters. One of the audience, who was a vocal music trainer said she wanted to use songs from ‘Yasuragi no Uta’ into her teaching. The tract also was given to her. The concert was very well blessed.

On Friday, 9th December, Jerusalem had two concerts at the lobby of Hotel Greenplaza Hakone. Approximately 100 people gathered there. Some people listened wiping their tears and some listened with serious look. One lady said, ‘My friend has an event hall.  I will negotiete with her so that she will invite you there.’

Pastor Bethel Morihara who is sent to Brazil will return Japan temporarily. She plans to stay in Japan for about one month.

On December 10, a praise band of Nagoya Church held a Christmas concert at an Elderly Care Center in Nagoya with J-Gospel Club. It was a first time to use videos in the concert. While projecting on the screen, they sang songs from Yasuragi-no-Uta with songs for Christmas. At the last, when the lyrics of “God is Love” was requested, three staff members joined together so that the concert really came alive.

Some said, “It was a wonderful concert” and “I was strengthen by your songs.” There were an audience of around 100 including the staff. We thank God’s grace and blessing.

Today’s Gospel Live TV features “The last minute Information on Kokoro-Gospel” and “Gifts Special.” The program will be broadcast live from Tokyo Antioch Church. It starts 6:15 p.m. Please don’t miss it!

On December 10, at Tokyo Antioch Church, Iyasi-no-Tudoi (Gathering for healing) was held. From this time, the staff members started to distribute the leaflets of the gathering, and give out the leaflets of “Kokoro-Gospel” which would be held at Miraiza in Ikebukuro on December 20.

Therefore all staff members could work together so that God’s presence was strong in the gathering. The gospel group named “Uranosu” gave a mini-Gospel Live in the first half of it. The audiences were very touched by a testimony that one of the Uranosu’s mental disease was healed.
