Last night, we had Tokyo Charismatic meeting at Shinjuku. There were many people gathered including new comers and repeaters. One of the new ones was a female missionary from the US. She knew about our charismatic meeting through the English version of Tokyo Antioch Church’s web sites. English web site is being used as it was spoken by God!

Gospel group “Jerusalem” opens in dealing with other churches
Praise band of Hakodate Church held Gospel concert at Long-Term Care Health Facilities
On Friday, 6 January, a praise band of Hakodte Church “Fruits of Lips” held a Gospel concert at a Long-Term Care Health Facilities in Hakodate-city, Hokkaido. It was the 3rd concert that they held the 2nd Christmas concert last month at the same facilities. There were about 30 people gathered including the users and the staff. The audience was pleased to listen to some songs from hymns and “Yasuragi-no-uta.” with lovely faces.
As they shared about their testimonies, the audience was moved to tears with nodding their head. The concert concluded with singing the lyrics of “Furusato (Hometown)” together. This concert was also a real blessing. In the end of the concert, they were given their impressions, “My heart was warmed.” and “What a wonderful song!” While shaking hands with them, and some of them kept on grapping performers’ hands, and others talked to them, saying “I’ll see you again?”

Thank you for your prayers for Joshua of Orphanage in Cambodia
Thank you for your prayers. Joshua who was in a hospital for breaking his left wrist was operated. A doctor said that the operation went well. And the progress after the operation is doing well. He was bruised on his face. However the swelling is going down. So please continually pray for him to stick his bones together correctly.
Praise Band of Kitakyusyu Living God Church held J-Gospel Concert at Day Service
On Thursday, January 5, a praise band of Kitakyusyu Living God Church held a J-Gospel concert at the Aozoranosato-Tonoue Day Service Center at Moji-ku. There were more than 70 people gathered together including the staff members and the users, and they listened to our performances attentively. Some of them was moved and shed teas. After the concert, we could have a good fellowship with the audience. The audience said, “Thank you very much.” and “This is my first time to hear your wonderful songs. Please come again.” and “I was very moved.” and “I felt like my heart cleansing.” and “I was touched.” And one guest braked into tears while shaking our hands. It was the wonderful concert, and God blessed the concert so much.
Hyogo Philadelphia Church gave Gospel Concert at special home for aged people
On Friday afternoon, January 6, a praise band of Hyogo Philadelphia Church gave a Gospel concert at a special home for the aged people at Inokawa-town, Kwabe-gun, Hyogo. There were about 50 people gathered including the users and the staff members in the Community Hall. They sang mainly the lyrics from “Yasuragi-no-uta” for about one hour. The concert was a real blessing so that some of them were moved to tears and others were beating their hands to songs. At the end of the concert, many people said with loud voices, saying “Great! Come again!”, and they were asked to hold a next concert.

Gospel Concert, “Fuyu-Gospel” is a Hit; “Yasuragi-no-uta” Sung at the Concert in Day Care Center for the Aged
In a day care center for the aged Sister M of Tokyo Antioch Church, works for, the concert was held for three days in the end of this December. The following three songs from “Yasuragi-no-uta” were sung; “Kimi-ga-umareru-mae-kara (Before your birth)”, “Kagayaku-Hikari-no-Nakao (In the dazzling light)”, and “Ookina-ai (Great Love)”. The chief staff and other staff members of the day care center attended the gospel concert, “Fuyu-Gospel” in the beginning of December. The chief was especially touched by the Lord during the concert and shared the testimony with others that the chief who used to get irritated was transferred to be mild. The chief practiced singing these three favorite songs together with the staff members and sang at the concert this time. “Yasuragi-no-uta” and the gospel concert,”Fuyu-Gospel” is a big hit. We thank the Lord.

A Person who came to the Kokoro-Gospel through the Street Live Concert of Jerusalem
On Sunday, January 1, the gospel group Jerusalem held a street live concert in Yotsuya. A person who came to the street live concert last autumn and bought the ticket for Kokoro-Gospel came and listened to the concert. She surely came to the Kokoro-Gospel concert. She looked very glad and said, “It was a very good concert, so I came to buy a ticket for Haru-Gospel.” We thank to the Lord.
