On the evangelistic meeting on the street in the team to Philippines, the work of  salvation was performed.  Also, many people had faith in Jesus and were saved during the mini-crusade.  The report was given; the person who had the pain in the knee was healed just after prayer for the healing was given.  The other who had monaural deafness was reported to get to be able to hear plain. We prayed for the child who was deaf and mute. Because the child started to reflect a little when we clapped hands near the ear, children around there repeatedly shouted, “Jesus”.  Then, the child said in a small voice and plain, “JESUS”. The Lord performed the miracle!!.

In the afternoon on 18, January, “Glory to the Lord” the joint praise band of Kuwana, Suzuka and Matsuzaka held the concert at the birthday meeting of “Toshien” the rehabilitation facility for the elderly.  About 20 people of residents of the facility, staff members and their families  gathered.  The old lady of the one-hundred age was included.

Some were crying listening praise songs from “Yasuragi-no-uta” the song book, “Umareru-mae-kara ( Since the Day before I Was Born)”, “Kokoro-karano-sanbi ( Praise from Our Heart)”, and “Eien-no-ai ( Eternal Love)”. There were some who wished the card of the lyrics of “Ookina-ai (God’s Big Love)”.  Family members of residents who turn their age this month also listened to praise songs together. And some who were asked how the concert had been by the person who was in charge of the concert, replied, “Each of songs touched me so much.” “It’s the first time I listen to such songs. I was glad to listen to on the birthday.”

Residents at the facility was pleased with their response,”Please come back again!”  And the person who was in charge of the concert also gave us the offer to hold the concert every month. The concert was richly blessed.

A stomachache of a child in Church of Living God in Kitakyushu was cured. This child attends the prayer and the practice for the praise  every week. When this child arrived at the church, she sat down inclining forward with arms holding stomach, saying,”My tummy hurts!”  Then we prayed for healing. She was pleased to be completely healed when she left for home. With all of our hearts, we thank God who healed.

Two member of an NPO came to the Cornerstone Orphanage in Cambodia from Japan and gave children stationaries and ball-point pens. One of them is a barber and he volunteered to cut the hair of the orphans. Since he could not finish all of the children, he came on the next day and cut their hair. We praise the name of the Lord.

True Vine was invited by a monk of a temple in Yamanashi prefecture, and held a Gospel concert in the main hall of the temple which has been been used for four hundred years. The hall is not very large, but was filled with members of Association of supporting ladies, and some even had to stand. All of the four representative monks were present, which is a rare case. We sang before a glittering golden screen which they had prepared. Many people including the monks were crying. We felt a wonderful Presence of God. After the concert they said, “It was so good that I was so surprised,” “Please come again,” and “We’ll be counting on you.” We thank God.

Members of Hatikvah Omura Commercial Avenue Live are practicing on Sunday afternoon in the church every week. Starting this week, we began afternoon Service of Omura church from 13:30 to 14:30. Members of the Live came to the Service and we practiced after the service. A non-Christian member of the Live came to church for the first time and received Jesus Christ and was saved. We thank God.

On Sunday, January 15, Jerusalem held a street live concert in Yotsuya. A lady talked to us before we started singing; she bought our CD before. She gave us her name card, saying, “Please contact me when the ticket of Haru-gospel is ready. A lady came to buy a concert ticket about two weeks ago; this time another lady came and asked about the ticket. She said she was a Catholic.

HolyCityJerusalemChurch’s Gospel Club Joy held a concert at PearlLandHospital in Kagoshimaon January 14. This is the 400^th concert by “Joy”. One of our members joined the Cambodia Orphanage visiting tour and shared about her visit during the concert.

Audience listened to the songs and eagerly gave us an applause. Especially we were very impressed that the workers of the hospital listened very eagerly as well. After the concert, a lot of people who listened to our songs said “Thank you”. We finished our concert with in God’s blessing and we give thanks to the Lord!

The mission team to the Philippines has come back to Narita airport a little after 7:40 pm. Thank you for your prayers.

On 14, Fukuoka J-Gospel Club of Crown of Life Fukuoka Church & Karatu Gospel Club held a New Year Concert at a care facility for the aged people in Karatu city, Saga prefecture. This was the second time concert in the facility. People in the facility was looking forward to hearing our performances, and almost 100 people were gathering for the concert. They listened to our music attentively, and some of them shed tears. Also we could praise two encores. After the concert, there were one person who would like to hear a song in Korean. So we responded the request, we had an opportunity to sing one more song in Korea. The person was moved to tears. God touched each one of them with His deep presence. It was a wonderful time. We give thanks to the Lord.

Gospel Live TV on Sunday 15 January was broadcast featuring “Just before Spring Gospel Concert for selecting a producer project.”

We hold Gospel concerts 4 times per year. So the Gospel Live which held yesterday was broadcast using some videos reviewing the concerts.

4 Performers, Come&Worship, Gospel Seed, La spouza, Gifts, appeared.

The Gospel Live which held yesterday reviewed using some opening movies of “Winter Gospel”, “Spring Gospel”, “Kokoro Gospel in Summer 2011” and “Kokoro Gospel in Winter” between praises.

Starting for selecting a producer regarding “Spring Concert 2012.” is on 29 January. Don’t miss it.

On 22 January, Hakuba Preliminary Gospel Contest will be broadcast live on the Internet at 4:00 pm. at Tokyo Antioch Church. About 36 Gospel teams will be appearing on the stage including a cute children team, a developing team, an attracting professional’s attention team and etc!
