On January 27, Osaka J-Gospel Club held a concert at the hotel lobby in Osaka. Not only Japanese guests of the hotel but also guests from Malaysia and Australia listened to their performances. Everyone was listening enthusiastically and they joined the dance with sign language joyfully.

There was the presence of the Lord abundantly, and the concert was really blessed.

Nakajima-san is always listening to a “Yasuraginouta 11” CD at home. The other day, the landlady asked her that she wanted to hear the CD. So Nakajima-san was happy to lend it to her. The landlady didn’t understand Japanese, but she likely enjoyed the music. And she heard the Yasuraginouta CD repeatedly as her grandchildren were fond of listening to the songs.

About one week later, she gave it back and said “I’d like to buy three copies of CDs. Because her grandchildren were able to sleep soundly when she played the Yasuraginouta music in their staying at her house. Also she explained that she felt good as listening to the music before going to bed. Japanese J-Gospel song “Yasurgi-no-uta” was used. It is uncommon in Israel. God shows us that the Holy Spirit works through these things. We praise the Lord.

On Sunday 29 January, praise band of Kitakyusyu Living God Church held a concert at Water Environment Hall where is located close Shigawa river in Kokura-kitaku. The chief of the hall told us, “You will be able to hold a concert this place” so that the concert would be held. He announced this concert to the Hall before the concert. There were many guests gathered including families, elders, young people, students and so on, and their singing voices echoed throughout the hall. The hall staff took many photos for us. Some were dancing accompanied with the music, and another leaned out to listen to our music, and others said, “Wonderful” “What a good song” “Peaceful” “I’ll come again.” The concert was a real blessing and wonderful.

In December last year, Gifts praised in many places in Okinawa.  A person who listened to “Yasuragi no uta” in our concert found ” Ookina Ai/ Big Love” in a Instrumental music CD in a Christian book store and bought it.  Now he/she plays the CD in a Christian hospital where he/she works at. “Yasuragi no uta” CD is used.

We held “Oh! Happy Day” during the 3rd worship service on Sunday for CS, junior high and high school students.  We had praising, short message of Pastor Inagawa, special praising done by 3 praising teams and Janken game in a circle.  Also, we watched a 5 minutes video of CS children taken in this year, and a short movie made by junior high and high school students.

Sweets were distributed to children.  We had a blessed and enjoyable time in God’s presence.

On Saturday, 28 January, Hyogo Philadelphia Church praising team had a gospel concert at a support facility for disabled people at Nose, Osaka.  We visit there every 2 months.  During concert of mostly ‘peaceful song’  for approximately a hour,  many people went up on stage and enjoyed together.  Some people remember relics of  ‘ eien no ai -eternal love’ and ‘GOD is Love’ and they sang together.  We are visiting there again in March.

Brother Masukawa and Brother Keisuke Mori were laid on of hands as an evangelist in the first service today. Please pray for their works.

On 27 January, the praise band of Nagoya Church held a Gospel concert at the rehabilitation facility for the elderly. They mainly sang some songs from “Yasuragi-no-uta.” It had a peaceful atmosphere in the concert. At the end of the concert, when they sang the lyrics of “God is Love”, the concert really came alive. On the way back, they were able to see a rainbow in the clouds. The Lord blessed the works of the praise band. We give the Lord’s grace thanks.

On Wednesday afternoon, January 25, Gospel Club Joy of Hyogo Philadelphia Church held a Gospel Concert at Kamo community hall in Kawanishi city. The concert was held due to a request for the host of Kamo-Nikoniko-kai to be performed every Wednesday. There were more than 80 audiences in the hall, and they listened to the Japaneses Gospel for the first time. They sang the lyrics of “Aiuta” with sign language. Some of them shed tears, and the concert was very blessed.

True Vine and Koufu Gospel Club will hold a Gospel concert at the event called “the Winter Milky Way Lift” to be enjoyed watching constellations. The concert will be held due to a request for the sky resort where is located in Kiyosato, Yamanashi prefecture. Last year, they performed there once on the stage. However this time, they were requested on the stage three times. More than that, they will be able to go on skis with no charge whatever they want. Give thanks to the Lord.

There was a man who had a whiplash injury in Jerusalem Lord’s Glory Church (Kumamoto). When they prayed for the man, his disease was healed. Give glory to the Lord.

On 26 January, the Gospel group Voice of Yokkaichi Zion Church took part in a tea party to praise with all their hearts in Holy Cross Hospital’s palliative care ward. There were many attendants which they’ve never seen before in the concert. So the staff had to prepare more chars because they were not enough. Also Starbucks prepared some coffees, but because of a lot of people they were not enough.

At the live concert, the audience listened to their performance attentively, and some of them was moved to tears. When they’ve finished to sing six lyrics and gave the last word, all of a sudden, they has been called for an encore from the staff. The Lord’s presence has poured in this place, and the concert was a real blessing. The patients said, “I always enjoy your performances.” “Please come again soon because I want to listen to your music.”
