On Saturday, 17 March, night time, Splendor participated in live concert of “Osaka North Yard Art Festa”.  This oppotunity was opened by introduction of a person who saw Splendor’s concert at Youth Hostel.  There was various show, including tribal culture dances.  We worried whether Splendor’s healthy image was accepted by ‘underground’ image of this show.  However when praise had started, the Lord’s presence had been released and the audiences listened attentively.  At the last song, “God is Love”, most of people made letter ‘L’ by their hands.  The Lord’s love is poured at any places.  Praise the Lord!

A mission team will be sent to Brazil from Mon. 21 through Sat. 26, May. The ticket’s price per person as of today is 223,640 yen. However, the price might change. Entry into Brazil requires a visa. If you have any questions, please contact the South America Department of Mission.

The results of preliminary round of Youth Praise Contest to be held at Tokyo Antioch Church was as follows.

The crystal glass medals of Hakuba Christian Film Festival were given to “He watches over you” of the Best General Film Award, “Let’s go to meet with God” of the 2nd place of the Best General Film Award, “Go to all the world with the calling” of the 3rd place of the Best General Film Award, “the Word of God” of the Best Film Award in the music video category, “Miraculous Story” of the Best Film Award in the testimony category, “the Word of God” of the Best Film Award in the church category as an extra prize. The medals are cut and grinded high unleaded crystal glass with high clarify by handicraftsmen.

Today’s Gospel Live TV entitles “Spring Fresh Special”. A lot of new members will appear on the stage. It starts at 6:15 p.m. We’re looking forward to seeing you there.

A praise contest in Chubu was held at 2:00 pm on March 17 at Nagoya. There were 30 praising teams including young members and the elementary school students joined to the contest. “Homeuta” (Song of Praise, Yotsukaiti Zion church) took the 1st place, and 2nd place was “Inori” (Pray, Yotsukaiti Zion church) in the elementary students and under category at the praise contest. In the young category, “Believe” (Yotsukaiti Zion church) and “Olive” (Yotsukaiti Zion church) took the 1st places. In the grow up category, “Shirusi to fushigi” (Sign and Wonders, Yotsukaiti Zion church) took the 1st place, and the 2nd place “Voice” (Yotsukaiti Zion church). “Shirusi to fusigi” is a winner at the contest. “Voice” is the runner-up. Four runner-up groups from all areas will be selected for the final round to be held in Hakuba.

The person who had a high fever of 39 degrees was completely healed through prayers by a pastor of the Church of the Living God in Kitakyusyu. The pastor works part-time for a security company. That person suffered the high fever for 2 weeks in the company. So he took a suppository while he was working. He said, “I’m on medication now.” So the pastor asked, “Is something wrong with you?” He said, “I have a high fever for two weeks.” Therefore the pastor was led to pray for healing. And God touched him. After finishing to work, the pastor prayed for him again. After praying, he released from the disease. Next day, the pastor asked him. He said, “I was healed from the high fever of 39 degrees since I’ve been for two weeks. I don’t need to take a suppository anymore.” Thank God because He healed him.

On March 16, “Gifts” held concertｓ at a psychiatric hospital in Kanagawa. For the first concert, about 150 people gathered in the big space and about 40 people gathered at the second concert inside the hospital ward. Some of them were crying at both concerts, which were blessed so much.  Staff members there seemed to be touched by God.

The evening of praises to God was held at the tea lounge on the 4th floor of Shin Okubo Uri Church on Thursday, March 15 and La Sposa sang praises to God. They sang four songs from song book,”Yasuragi no uta”. They were called back to the stage at last, and then they sang “Okina Ai” His big love, together with violin by Pastor Kin, the host church. God’s presence poured out. Even at the time of testimony, God’s grace coule be shared together.

The father of Pastor Taira of Chikuho Christ Church was prayed for high-blood pressure at a Charismatic meeting. His pressure was 185-90, but after the prayer it became 135-75. He is glad that his high-blood pressure was healed. We thank God for the healing.

Three boys in Cambodian orphanage goes to Singapore for the meeting of Boys Bligate from March 14 to 19. The three boys were elected by the school. Voty applied for the passport with certificate of migration instead of family certificate, but it was accepted and the passport was issued. Thank you for your prayers. Continue to pray for their safety in Singapore and for their safe return back to Cambodia.
