Three university students has finished painting the walls with children on the last day, Thursday. They came to The Cornerstone Orphanage in Cambodia as volunteer workers. They played with children together in the afternoon because we made time, and they sang Japanese songs together due to encourage children to fulfill their dreams. In return, when children sang “Great Love” of J-gospel that they remembered well, the students shed tears. Also, they gave us soccer balls and guitars as a present. Thank you very much.

La Sposa performed singing praises at a Christian assisted nursing home they do regularly every month.  While “Yasuragi no uta” becomes familiar now, those who had never responded lifted up their hands and got to loudly sing together with pleasure.

In Kansai Charismatic Meeting held from Monday, 6th to Wednesday, 8th of August, God performed His work of healing. One was told with a message of wisdom and knowledge through the Spirit at the time of ministry,”One of them here hurt a shoulder. It has been healed.”  The moment the person considered it was given to himself, he was released from pain and completely healed.  Also, the other one asked to pray for God’s healing dizziness in personal prayer time. After receiving the prayer, the dizziness was gone and the person was healed.  We give thanks to the Lord.

A fan of Gifts gave a CD by Gifts to one of the fan’s friends, a nonbeliever. The person was very exhausted with his work, and then he was so impressed that he got tears down. He didn’t believe in God but felt that he himself was loved by God. He called with his pleasure. God worked through the CD. We give thanks.

 

Early in the evening on Thursday, August 9th, Praise Band Splendor, a joint one in Kansai district, performed about one hour street live in front of JR Nara station. Some stopped to listen. Some applauded whenever they finished singing. Some took pictures of them. They had never experienced such good response before. It was a street live with abundant blessing. We give thanks to the Lord!

 

Hiroshima, Kure, God’s church worshipped under the tree of sterculiaceous in World Peace Memorial Park on August 9. Many people listened to our songs. We thank God.

Pastor John Denishi of Living Hope of God Iizuka Church had a pains in the left knee about a week before the Nagasaki Charismatic Meeting. The pain was probably due to the wearing out of the cartilage. After the pastors meeting he was prayed for and he attended the Nagasaki Charismatic Meeting. In the meeting there was a word of knowledge and wisdom saying, “A bad knee has been healed.” As he went home there was no pain in the knee and the healing has been continuing. We thank God.

Pastor Israel Tsujigou had pains in hip joints for years. She came to the Hakuba Camp and as she touch the presence of God in the Meeting, the pains of the joints were gone. We thank God for the work of healing.

A member in Kashiwa Church had pains in the fingers and he couldn’t bend the fingers. He came to church and received words of knowledge saying, “Joints of fingers were healed.” When he heard it he became able to bend the fingers and all the pains were gone. We thank the Lord for healing.

3 college student volunteers visited our orphanage in Cambodia, and fixed the wall of the orphanage facility with the older kids there.  The wall peeled off in many places in the facility, so they peeled the color, and re-painted.  They will come every day from hotel until this Thursday, Thank God.  We pray for them to have good fellowship with children.

On Sunday, Aug 5^th, a praise team of Jerusalem the Lord’s Glory Church held a charity concert at a festival of Kengun Shrine.  At the first half and the second half, they had 2 concerts, many people were listening, and God’s overwhelming victory was manifested.  They were told to sing at the festival every year.  Also, an owner of a Stonework company talked to them and asked them to come and sing at his place.  We give thanks to the Lord!

On Sunday, Aug 5^th, praise teams of Kita Kyushu Church of Living God held a J-Gospel Concert at “Aozora no Sato Tokuryoku Day Service Center” in Ogura Minami ward.  At the place, more than 30 people including staff members and users of the facility gathered together and listened to their music eagerly.  11 praise teams sung 15 songs from Yasuragi Song Book Vol.11.  Some people took pictures of them and some people said “My mind was at peace”, “The concert was wonderful!”, “It is wonderful that you go to church and do things like this”, and “We enjoyed. Please come again”.  The Lord’s Blessing was poured fully, and it was a wonderful concert.

We put off the deadline of Yasuragi Song Book Vol.12 application to Aug. 16^th.  Please apply quickly.

The instructions to apply are as follows:

*Please send your music by CD or MP3 data or by mail if possible. You may apply by Music tapes or MD. You can put more than one song in each media. (but if it’s possible, please send by MP3 or wave file)
*For making music, please be careful not to violate copyright laws.
*Music should be recorded within 3 months. If you want to apply the same song you applied before, please change some words, some melody, or change singers.
*Please put accompaniment for the music, apply with music note, tempo and chords.
*Please send the lyrics separately with music sheet.
*At the point of time when you apply, copyright will be switched to Arechini Kawa Music.
*Please do not send your original copies. We will not be able to return the music you submitted.
*Please apply with good sound as much as you can. Sometimes we use the music as it is for CD.
*Deadline will be late July.

Missionary Zion Oko Mutale was invited from a conference of a mission group “OM (Operation Mobilization) Zambia” and she sang praise at venue.in front of about 2000people who came from many countries of America, Europe and Africa, she shared testimony of orphanage and huge earthquake, and she sang a praise song which she wrote in local language of Zambia. The place was covered with deep presence of the Lord, and vessels of the Lord who has been serving for long time were listening to her seriously. She had a cough for long time, but it stopped and she could give praise boldly. Thank you for your prayer of intercession.

In the evening of Saturday August 4th , in the event to see fireworks of Shin Osaka　youth hostel, with a help of Splendor, Osaka J-Gospel club held 40minuts concert. There came gests of the hotel who came from abroad and Japan, they listen to “Yasuragi songs” which is for the first to hear. Everyone clapped their hands for cheerful songs, and did sign language together, reaction of gests was good and it became joyful concert. After the concert, there was a time to enjoy fireworks having a light meal. We give thanks to the Lord!
