On Tuesday, January 15, Ouranos gave a concert in a national Hospital in Kodaira city. This ward is for the severely handicapped. About forty people including wheelchaired patients and thier families and staff got together.
We song songs from songbooks, “Kaze-no Hibiki” and “Yasuragi-no Uta.” The hard faces of the patients changed during the concert.
The staff of the Hospital said, “The patients have never listened to a concert so calmly. There was a patient who lost his mother, and it was a gtood encouragement to him. Please come again, the patients were touched by the songs.” They seemed glad. We felt strongly the love that God has for the weak, and the power of God working through the songs in the songbooks. We give all the glory to God!
