“Shirushi to Fushigi” Held a Concert at a Day Service Center

On the 22nd, Shirushi to Fushigi of Yokkaichi Zion church held a gospel concert at a day service centre.

When we were having a gospel concert at a different facility, a staff of facility of this time was listening and requested us to have concert at this place.

Both users and staffs invited us with smile for the first time we visited.

When the concert began, audience were listening gospel with clapps and smile.  There was a person shedding tears. We felt that God was touching them.

When we sang, “God is Love”, they made L sign with their hand.  They enjoyed so much. We couldn’t believe that that was the first concert at this place.

The users liked “L” sign. When we were leaving, they used ‘L’ sign, rather than good bye.

We got next appointment in November from this new facility.

We give thanks to God who worked and blessed this concert!

Jerusalem Held a Concert at a Group Home

On Saturday, 7 September, Praise team Jerusalem held a volunteer concert at a group home in Iwatsukinishi.

As it was scheduled, they watched the DVD of J Gospel Contest final held in July 2019.  They expected me to visit them with DVD and they enjoyed it very much. The DVD was on before the concert started. They clapped their hands after Jerusalem finished singing. I watched the DVD with them, standing at the corner of the room.  We gave them the DVD. I heard someone said, “They are too worthy to come here…”

After we watched the DVD, we felt power of gospel singing together. We received the power of gospel.

It was a Noryo festival day on that day.  We received many gifts and were able to talk to the staffs.

People talked like “I want to go to watch GLTV!”, “Shall I go and watch your concert in December?”

Some people were talking about Christmas concert. One of them said her husband is Filipino and goes to Catholic church.

God had worked in each of them in this concert.

The Gate of Praise Held a Concert at a Facility

The Gate of Praise held a concert at a new facility.

I was nervous, because I didn’t know what kind of people are there, but I gave thanks because they were nice people and listened to unknown person’s song like mine so earnestly.

While I was singing, the audience increased one by one>

After I sang gospel with some folk songs, they said their favourite songs were “Fuku no oto” and “eien no ai” (enka). They were listening to those songs nodding.

I heard that staffs also said that they liked these two songs and that they were sang clear and were easy to listen.

Many people said thank you to me when I was about to leave. It was a grateful moment for me.

Today’s purpose for the facility is to check what kind of activity I am usually doing. In the meeting after today’s concert, they asked me to visit more seriously sick people on the 5th floor of that building. So I have got appointment to visit 4th and 5th floor every month starting next month.

When I was on my way home after the concert, I saw a rainbow on top of the facility.

I gave thanks to God, who blessed the concert.
