On Saturday, 5 January, GRACIOUS DOORS held a volunteer concert at an adult day care in Tokyo, and around 30 people gathered.

I was shocked to see a grandma, who is usually sitting quiet sang with big clapping from the beginning.

Another grandma was singing joyfully and peacefully with the motion of conductor with her arms.

When I sang Japanese original gospel, “genki o dashite”, they listened to me with smiles. When I sang “fuku no to”, “eien no ai”, and “bokyo”, they closed their eyes, some filled with tears and listened to me attentively. God touched each one of them deeply.

I give thanks to God, who blessed the concert from my heart!

On Saturday, 22 December, Glory To Him and Matsuzaka gospel club, the praise bands of Suzuka and Matsuzaka held a Christmas gospel concert at “Gosyo Pocket Park” in Matsuzaka city.

“Gosyo Pocket Park” is a venue that Matsuzaka city had prepared to have events, so that any body can come and join. The name is “Gosyo”, meaning great businessman, because the place is the original place of “Mitsui financial group”

We sang  10 songs like “Okina Ai”, “Kokokara”, “Itsukushimi wa itsuno himo”, “God is Love”, with Christmas songs at the beginning.

Staffs of facility that we usually use in the next city to this and my colleague came to join.

Some people were listening to it very attentively.

People commented, “I was healed”, “It was good”, “All the songs were good”. When we visited the next facility after this concert, they clapped their hands and commented, “It was very good! Why don’t you perform on TV?”

We think there is an importance in having concert at an old business centre, Matsuzaka city.

Thank you, God.

On 22nd December, praise band of Nagoya church held Christmas gospel concert at Aira Toyoake, a facility in Toyoake city.

It was a great fun, having the closing time after the planned time.  It was the facility that we visited after half a year.  We were asked to visit this place again regularly.

On Saturday, 22 December, Praise band Jerusalem held a concert at an adult day care in Iwatsuki, Saitama city.

There was a person who came to listen to gospel. I had a chance to talk about the true meaning of Christmas and the background.

Its better to sing the songs for them to sing together, not only for them to listen only, because the staffs can make gospel lyrics card.

There were people who used to go to church among them and they were explaining to the people nearby about the meaning of gospel after the concert. It was a concert that God protected!

On Saturday, 22 December, from 2 A.M, Fuji and Shizuoka praise band held an hour Christmas concert at an adult day care in Numazu city.

This is the place we visit regularly. They were expected us.  We sang ‘Kagayaku hiker no nada o”, “watashi wa aisareteiru’, “eien no ai” and so on mixing with Christmas songs.  They listened to us attentively and some of them shedding tears.  One of staffs told us, “We are expecting you to come, because we want to be healed.” When we were leaving, the users were making “L” sign (of ‘God is Love’) with their hand from the car.

On 22 December, Euqaristias held a gospel concert at a facility for handicapped in Shinagawa ward.  We sang Christmas songs and gospel songs like God id Love, yorokobi no uta and so on. We could have had a happy time with children and were blessed.

On Saturday, 22 December, GRACIOUS DOORS held a volunteer concert in an adult day care in Tokyo, where approximately 35 people gathered.

When I sang some old melody like “ringo no uta”, “furusato” and so on, suddenly face of a man who looked to have dementia changed from nervous one to smile and sang together. I was shocked!

Also a grandma who used to learn Japanese dance started to dance moving her hands beautifully, smiling on her wheel chair!

When I sang ‘Ookina ai’ an original gospel, many people sang together with lyrics card.

When I sang ‘anata wa daijoubu’, boukyou’, ‘eien no ai’, they listened to us attentively. I felt God was touching each of them.

It has been a happy concert. Everybody looked happy. I give thanks to God from my heart!

On 22 December, True Vine was invited to the gospel concert held by a community center in Kofu city and performed. Audience were almost full in the venue. After the concert, many of audience shed tears and one of them commented “I was lucky to have attended this concert. I was touched.”, some people bought CD. We were blessed a lot.

Uranus held a mini concert at a concert in a vocational aid centre in Akiruno city on Friday, 21 December.

Since it is 7th year serving for them, they remembered us, so the concert has been done within friendly atmosphere.

When we sang Christmas songs and rhythmical songs, they enjoyed freely singing together taking rhythm with bells and tambourine and dancing.  Even though there are many autism people and difficult to have direct communication, they listened to J Gospel like “anata wa daijoubu” and “smile”.  We felt the word has been into their mind.

The facility director suggested us to have collaboration with the choir next year.  We expect how the Lord will work in this project, while we will continue.

Praise band of TLEA Pillar of Praise Church joined in Winder recital of  “The San Diego Music and Art Cooperative Studio” and praised.

On 16 afternoon, Blessing rise of Life Crown Fukuoka church performed in the Acoste Live, held at Nakagawa city.

I was able to sing without being nervous in front of approximately 100 audience.  People commented me, “good voice”, and “good”. “Kimi o mamorukara” seemed to be touched people. They said, “I was touched.” Within the concert, I was able to tell that I am singing gospel after my disease was healed and that there is J Gospel concert. I distributed the fliers, too.

I was asked to do MC all of sudden this time, which was a new step for me.
