PATOLIS Holds a Concert at a Lobby in Hospital

On Tuesday, 19 December, the gospel group “PATOLIS” held a concert at a lobby in a hospital. The concert was held due for a request on the PATOLIS’s blog. There were more than 100 people gathered in the concert . Many people were touched by the presence of God. They said, “I’m strength to be lived”, “I was healed”. After the end of the concert, some audience members came to pay their respects to us.

Also the staff members in the hospital said, “I was moved. I’d like to listen to you songs again.”, “This is the first time for us to see the patients’ greetings to a performer. Moreover, they said, “I’d like to show you to another general hospitals.” It became a concert that we felt the special blessing of God. Thank you, Lord

More 8 Languages Adds to Tokyo Antioch Church’s Website

Yesterday we added 19 languages to the website of Tokyo Antioch Church for foreigners. Furthermore, more 8 languages were added to the site. As of today, our website are covered with 38 languages including Japanese.

The added languages are as follows:
Filipino, Vietnamese, Thai, Hindu, Indonesian, Malay, Tamil, Swahili

Gospel Seed Holds Christmas Concert with Nagoya J-Gospel at Bakery Croissant in Nagoya

The gospel group “Gospel Seed” gave a Christmas Concert with “Nagoya J-Gospel” at a bakery named “Bakery Croissant” in Nagoya on 22 December. On the first stage, Nagoya J-Gospel sang Christmas Carols and some songs from Yasuragi-no-Uta in the narrative way. On the second stage, “Gospel Seed” praised some Gospel songs. The concert had a homey atmosphere. The audience listened to their music with their testimony attentively. After the concert, one man bought two copies of the CD’s.

The Praise Band in Los Angeles Church, Concert at the Care Home for Aged People

On December 20, the Christmas Concert was held even in Los Angeles. “Hosanna Chorus” was sent to serve the Lord to deliver praising songs as a praise band at the care home for Japanese American Aged People. More than 120 of inhabitants and staffers attended and listened.  We sang songs of praise with performance by Koto ( Japanese harp), trumpet and piano. We were told,”Come again next year, please”. We just thank God.

“Gifts”, Charity Concert in Chubu Region

“Gifts” held concerts in Chubu region as a concert tour. This Wednesday and this Thursday, charity concerts for building an orphanage in Japan were held in Kuwana and Suzuka.  The video was played in charity concerts and it was very useful. About 70000 yen was raised as fundraising from these two concerts that were with abundant blessings.

19 New Languages Sets of the Website Have Been Added

19 new languages sets of Tokyo Antioch Church website by foreign languages have been launched.

Now, 30 languages (including Japanese) sets can be offered with former websites.

“Voice” in Okinawa Jerusalem Church Offers Praises at Christmas Party in Hospital

“Voice” in Okinawa Jerusalem Church offered praises at a Christmas party in a hospital in Naha City. “Voice”, the first performer, offered praises toward about 100 patients in wheelchairs with hearts which seemed to pray that God’s blessings might be with them.

They sang 6 praising songs of Christmas Carol and Yasuragi-no-Uta in front of  many attendances of hospital staffers including the chief executive officer, the director general, the chief nurse executive and so on. We are very grateful that the one had requested “Voice” to sing praises, told to do again next year.

“Gifts” Holds A Concert at the Shopping Center in Mie Prefecture

“Gifts” held a concert at the shopping center it is said the most people gather in Mie prefecture on Thursday.  Many people stopped, were seated and listened in two stages. After the concert, a male listener said,” Tears came down!”  Many of them told that they had listened to their street live before. CDs slosh were sold at the concert. We thank God.

Signs and Wonder in Yokkaichi Zion Church Holds a Gospel Live Concert At AEON-Meiwa Shopping Center

On December 17, the gospel group “Signs and Wonders” in Yokkaichi Zion Church held a Gospel Concert in AEON-Meiwa Shopping Center. Being Saturday, many people gathered together both to the Part I, and II of the concert. Many poeple stopped to listen from the first and second floor of the center.

A voice was raised from the audience, “How well they sing!” From the audience we received an offer of a concert. He is a professional painter, and he is planning to hold a one-man exhibition at Matsuzaka-ya in Nagoya. He said he is going to hold a pre-sale for a week before the exhibition. He wants us to sing Gospels at the pre-sale. We thank God who had opened another opportunity to sing Gospels.

A Praise Band in Jerusalem Lord’s Glory Church (Kumamoto) Holds a Concert At Elder Care Facility

A praise Band in Jerusalem Lord’s Glory Church (Kumamoto) held a Gospel concert at Kagayaki-En, an Elder Care Facility. We had a good time together with the aged people in the facility. An hour was spent all too soon. We sang nursery rhymes together, and they seemed to have enjoyed. Before we leave, they said, “Thank you for good songs.” And we were very much encouraged.

Gifts Holds a Concert at AEON and APITA in Kuwana

On December 21, Gifts held a concert at AEON and APITA in Kuwana. They visited these places after one year since they visited them last time. The responses of the audience were better than the last time and many people gathered and listened. At one store, thier CDs were displayed in an ordinary CD shop, and more than dozens were sold after the concert. A woman who listened to the concert in Chubu District, who lost her husband before the concert, said, “I couldn’t stop crying at that time, but I have been listening to the CD, ‘Okina-Ai’ and it healed my heart. I am glad that I was able to meet Gifts this time. I enjoyed the concert very much. Thank you.” We thank God.

Gospel Live TV on December 18

The Gospel Live TV on December 18, 2011, will be a special program featuring the Kokoro-Gospel!
It is a special program just before the concert by the performers of the Kokoro-Gospel, which is only two days ahead.


Various arrangements of Gospel, from rap to chorus by four, were performed.

On this day’s program, parts of the numbers that will be actually performed in the concert were aired. In the concert still more Gospel songs will be performed.

Kokoro-Gospel concert was held at 19:00 on December 20, 2011, at Mirai-za-Ikebukuro (Toshima-ward Hall).

Winter Concert Called “In the Dazzling Light” Holds

Winter Concert “Kagayaku-Hikarino-Nakao (In the Dazzling Light)” will be held at 5:00 pm on Sunday, 25 December at Tokyo Antioch Church. The eleven Gospel groups will be broadcast. The movies also will be showed accompanied with the lyrics that the performers play. The concert will be simultaneous broadcasting on the Internet. We look forward to seeing you there.

Kokoro-Gospel Holds

Last night, the gospel concert “Kokoro-Gospel” was held at Tosima Kokaido (Mirai-Za-Ikebukuro) at 7:00 pm. The concert was a real blessing, and there was an audience of more than 250 gathered together. In the concert, the movies on a screen were very beautiful, and the lyrics of the performers were also a blessing. Some audience members were moved to tears. We give thanks to the Lord.

Uranos Joins a Christmas Concert at National Hospital

On the evening of December 19, the gospel group “Uranos” took part in a Christmas concert hosted by the National Hospital. The performers were the staff members, the staff’s families and professional vocalists and pianists. The concert had a homey atmosphere. Uranos had an opportunity to sing the lyrics of “Anatawa-Daijoubu” and “Ohkina-Ai” from “Yasuragi-no-Uta” with them. The audience was touched by the words of the song, and some of them sang together. This concert was started five years ago. Some audience members attend the concert every year, and said, “I listened to your songs last year, too.” We’re thankful to hold the J-Gospel concert again, and we’d like to share J-Gospel any chance we get.
