A gospel team Splendor held a concert in front of Osaka city hall on February 25. It stopped raining before starting the concert. Many people stopped to listen to their performances and many people received their leaflets. The presence of the Lord was poured out strongly in the concert, and the concert was a real blessing.
On Friday afternoon, 24 February, Hyogo Philadelphia Church’s praising team held a gospel concert at a fascility for physically challenged people where is located at Inagawa cho, Hyogo. The concert is held there once in every two months. During making preparations, we enjoyed practicing dance for Gospel with fascility users. And everybody danced with the gospel music in the concert. The concert was a real blessing.

On Sunday 26, Feb., a gospel group “Jerusalem” came across a person who used to attend the service at Shimonoseki Grace of Cross Church five years ago. He bought their CDs and gave them something as a gift. He also joined our Gospel Live TV at Tokyo Antioch Church, and attended the 7th service. We give thanks to the Lord.
“Kokoro Gospel” will be held at Za-Kouenji on Saturday, 7 April. So we performed a street live and handed out the flyer for the concert in front of the station. When a praising team sang and handed out the flyer, many people stopped and receive the flyer. As soon as we’ve finished to hand out the flyer, it started raining. God protected us completely and it was a blessing.
On Sunday 19, Feb., a group from Bolivia called out to a gospel group Jerusalem on a street live at Yotsuya. They were on their way form Ignatius Church, and approached to Jerusalem with a smile. After they listened to the music, they sang a song of “Amazing Grace” together. They raised their voices, and shook hands with each member of Jerusalem, and one lady hugged them. We felt embarrassed, but it made us happy.
On Saturday 25, February, a gospel group “Come&Worship” held a yasuraginouta concert on an outdoor stage at Nishiguchi Ikebukuro. According to the weather forcast, it would be rainy. However we protected from rain completely, and there were many people listening to our performances even in the cold weather. A ward assemblyman talked to us, and he asked us to invite their next event. We give thanks to the Lord.
Today’s Gospel Live TV is broadcast featuring “Gifts” and “Come&Worship”. The program has a jam session of a sax and a guitar. It starts at 6:15 pm. We look forward to seeing you there.
There are no clinic near Kasenga district in the Zambia Cornerstone Orphanage so that people have difficulty. The Zambia Orphanage had nurses from Lusaka come to the district, and we handed out the drugs as vitamin A (prevention of cataract) and phosphorochloridate (sterilize with water) to women who have children of five or under. Also we held a seminar about family planning and HIV to them.
In Zambia, the children of five or under are recommended to go to doctor almost once a month for vaccination and measurement of body weight. However, because the clinics are far, many women have to walk between the residents and the clinics on foot over a day. For this reason, they are too late for having a baby in the hospital. So they have to give birth to a child in a bus or in a bush on a road. Many lives put themselves in danger.
Therefore we’ve made up our mind to hold the seminar. Also we have much expectations to reach the people through our ministries of orphanage. The responses of the women were good, and they appreciated us.
On Thursday 23 Feb., a gospel group “Jerusalem” held a lobby concert for two times at Hotel Green Plaza in Hakone. There were about 90 people listening to their performances in the concert. A group from Taiwan tourists attended also this month, and they bought their CDs. Some of them were touched by the presence of the Lord, and shed tears in the lobby concert. Others said that they wanted some musical scores. We realized that “Yasuragi” Gospel was surely spreading throughout the people.

It entitles “Gospel and Dance!- Let’s Sing and Praise!!”, the collaborative project of Gospel and Dance.
“Come&Worship”, “Las Posa”, “True Vine” and “Gifts” are performers!
Many children around Mori performed as a dance team!!
This project selecting producer was the last.
Spring Concert is held in Za Koenji, on Saturday, April 7.
Door opens at 5:30pm. Concert starts at 6pm!

Missionary Zion Ohko Mutale, in charge of the Cornerstone Orphanage in Zambia, was invited to broadcast for a half hour by the radio station, where Pastor Jasper Mutale , TLCCC Zambia Church holds the radio Christian ministry. She could talk about the orphanage and appleal for need. Because of the nation-wide-network broadcast, big responses can be expected. It will be big help to the following work about the church and the orphanage, since she is told to be often invited from now on.

Piano Performance of Ms. Rieko Yoshizumi Scheduled Sunday, August 5, in Tokyo Charismatic Meeting
Rieko Yoshizumi; after completing her study at Senior High School of Music attached to The Faculty of Music and Tokyo University of the Arts attaining the highest grade, she went on to study at Hochschule für Musik Detmold in Germany.
She finished the graduate study and the Concerto Hegumen (Soloist Course) attaining the highest grade. Since her study at college in Germany, she had become very enthusiastic in chamber music, too, performing her solo recitals at numerous concerts accompanied by orchestra in Germany and abroad. She has performed as soloist at concerts in countries of Europe, Asia and South America. She has received invitations to music festivals. She has been teaching at the master class of Piano and Chamber Music in Japan, Spain, and Peru. After she was offered a teaching post at the Detmold College of Music and the ‘Carl Maria von Weber’ College of Music in Dresden, she has also been teaching at the ‘Carl Maria von Weber’ College of Music in Dresden since the year of 2000 as a Professor of Piano. She has studied under each professor of Professor Akiko Iguchi, Professor Toshiko Katsutani, Professor Friedrich Wilhelm Schnurr and Professor Roberto Szidon.
