A mission team will be sent to Brazil from Mon. 21 through Sat. 26 May. Because entry into Brazil requires a visa, we’re close to the applicants by Fri. 27 April in the morning. The ticket’s price per person as of today is 223,640 yen, but the price might change.

“La Spouza” praise in the evening meeting on San Remo Seminar

“La Spouza” praised at a dinner party on San Remo Seminar on 23 April. In the morning, they sang the lyrics of “Jerusalem of Gold” with a sister as a planner accompanied with Bro. Ikeda’s guitar. And in the evening they sang “Jerusalem” from Yasuragi-no-Uta. At night, they sang “Eternal City of God” at the end of program before Israel ambassador and many guests. Dr. of laws J Gaur gave them some comments, “It was like angels coming down” “You were born to praise”.

Second Round for Hakuba Praise Contest was held in Chugoku District

Today, Second Round for Hakuba Praise Contest was held at Kure Portpeer. 13 praise teams appeared on the stage. “Praise the Lord” of Shimonoseki Cross Grace Church won the 1st place. The team will compete as the 2nd frame to appear on the stage in Hakuba accompanied with the teams in Hokuriku and in Shikoku. Beside, “Good News” of Okayama Philadelphia Church won the 2nd place. “Good News” is a ruuner-up. 4 teams will be selected for Final Round to be held in Hakuba.

Student Association was held

On Sunday April 22 in the afternoon, after we joined the Youth Worship Service together, we moved to Kaikan to have Student Association. Because we’ve announced making crepes before, junior high school students and the one who recently came to tokyo and the one who came to our church for a long time joined our meeting together. It was very blessed. The next student association will be held on May 27. Don’t miss it!

Gospel Seed and Jerusalem gave a live at a shopping center

On Sat. 21 April, “Gospel Seed” and “Jerusalem” gave a live concert at two times at a shopping center. Before starting the concert, a lady who continued to attend the live, was saved. God worked with us during the concert. Some audiences shed tears and asked about our church. Others had anticipation to the next concert. We felt that the works of praise was advancing to the next stage.

Splendor Held a Charity Concert for Orphanage at Aeon Mall Kashihara, Nara

On Saturday 21st April, Splendor, a Kansai combined praising team held a charity concert for an NPO “The Cornerstone Orphanage” for three times at Starlight Court, Floor 1 of Aeon Mall Kashihara Aruru at Kashihara city, Nara Prefecture.  Many people listened to us, sitting and standing.  Some of them were repeaters, some people were crying and some people listened for all 3 concerts.  A professional cameraman was there and photoshot us.  We met a person who used to work in Japan Embassy in Zambia for 4 years.   A person said she wanted to join our gospel club in Nara.  It has become a very blessed concert.  We collected about 45000 yen for The Cornerstone Orphanage.  We give thanks to the Lord.

“San Remo Peace Festival” guests were touched by our worship

“San Remo Peace Festival” guests from Europe was touched by a gospel group “Gifts” performance. All of them said that they wanted their CDs. So “Gifts” gave their CDs to them. Also they were so moved by the presence of our worship so that they wanted the CDs of Japanese Gospel. So we gave “Yasuragi-no-Uta (Peaceful Song)” CD as a present to all the members. They were pleased so much. Some of them said to buy more CDs of Yasuragi-no-Uta.

“Yasuragi-no-Uta” impresses listeners. We believe it will be more worth to all the world.

TLCCC Denver Praising Team Prased at Colorado Gospel Showcase

On 21st April, an event called “Colorado Gospel Showcase” was held at Shorter Community A.M.E church.   With guests like Grammy award winner veteran Gospel singer, Tramaine Hawkins and Shirley Murdock, who used to be active in R&B and Soul music in the 80’s and is now Gospel singer, 750 seats were full before it started.

As the first performer in that Show Case, TLCCC Denver church praising team, “Grateful Heart” praised “Leave everything to the Lord” and “Like an eagle” in Japanese from “Yasuragi no uta”.  God’s presence was revealed abundantly, and we received standing ovation.  We praise the Lord.  M.C commented about wonderful God’s works that works beyond language and people’s race.  “Yasuragi no uta” is used in U.S.A.

Praise Band of Nagoya Church gave a street live in front of Kanayama Station

A praise band of Nagoya Church gives a street live in front of the station of Kanayama every Sunday after a service. Because it was getting warm, another groups also performed there. During the performances, there was a man who was sitting before Nagoya Church’s praise band and listened to their music attentively. They said to him that they would perform there every week. So he said he would like to come again. They could see a big luminous halo around the sun before they started. Also they could see it during the performance. Give thanks to the Lord!

Toyohashi Gospel Club and True Vine held a concert at a facility

Toyohashi Gospel Club and True Vine held a concert at a facility where is located at Hamana lake in Shizuoka. It was held about one hour at the concert that they sang mainly the lyrics from “Yasuragi-no-Uta”. During the concert, several audiences appreciated their performances and gave them a request to give a concert again. Other sang “Great Love” with their loud voices. The office clerk of the facility said that they would like to hold such a concert annualy. God worked within us, and it was a real blessing. We give thanks to the Lord.

Student Association will make crepes tomorrow

‘Student Association’ is held on the fourth Sunday of every month.
On April 22, we’ll join a Youth Worship Service together from 2:20 pm tomorrow. After that, we plan on making crepes at Kaikan from 3:00 pm. The fee may be 100 yen or 200 yen. Please don’t hesitate to come and join us. We’re looking forward to seeing you there. Every youth people and student will be welcome.
