On June 14th, a praise band from Suzuka, Matsusaka and Kuwana named “Glory to Him” held gospel concert at a care center for intellectually handicapped people of Suzuka city.
About 30 people of staffs and member of the care center came to our concert.
After we sang “Clap your hands if you are happy” and some nursery songs, we sang praise few songs from gospel song book “Yasuragino Uta” and “Sound of Wind”, and some people kept time to the music by clapping, one girl came to just in front of us and tried to sing together, and there was a one who started to conduct. It was a joyful time.
After the concert, familiar faces came to us to shake hands, and said “Please come again” “When will you come next time?”
There was one young man whom we never saw before, one staff said “He can not stay still and usually he comes in and go out the room often, but today he could sit still through the concert”. We give thanks to the Lord blessed the concert.
