The following is a report from Cora in the Philippines:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n
We are currently attending a Ministers\u2019 Fellowship in Davao. While traveling to the venue, we experienced a major earthquake.<\/p>\r\n
We are safe.<\/p>\r\n
According to reports, buildings collapsed in parts of Mindanao, particularly in Sarangani Province, following a magnitude 8.0 earthquake. In Davao City, shaking measuring magnitude 6.8 was felt.<\/p>\r\n
Due to aftershocks and tsunami warnings, work and classes have been suspended. Coastal communities in particular remain on high alert.<\/p>\r\n
